娱乐治疗（Ｒecreationaltherapy），也叫娱乐疗法，是指通过各种娱乐活动（如听音乐、学歌咏、看电影、看电视、看戏剧表演、跳舞、游戏、下棋、游园等），来陶冶性情、增进身心健康的一种心理治疗方法。
历史
娱乐治疗由来已久。古希腊思想家亚里士多德以及古代中国的《乐记》里，都曾论述过音乐等娱乐活动的治疗作用。我国古代医案中也有不少娱乐治疗的记载。例如清代，有一县令，终日愁眉不展，郁郁寡欢，食不知味，寝不安枕，一天天消瘦下去，虽多方求医，仍无效果。后来听说有一位名医，医道高明，便前往求治。老郎中问明了病情并号过脉象之后，一本正经对他说：你乃“月经不调”。县令听罢，啼笑皆非，甩袖而去。以后逢人便讲这件怪事，每说一回，便捧腹大笑一回。没想到过了不久，病竟痊愈了。此时县令才恍然大悟，上门拜谢郎中。郎中告诉他：“你患的是郁结的心病，要治好你的心病，还有什么比笑更好的心‘药’呢？”...
