正文 亦称婚姻适龄，指法律中规定的结婚的最低年龄。男女双方均达法定婚龄是结婚的重要条件之一。未达法定婚龄是婚姻无效或得撤销的原因。结婚年龄的上限，各国法律没有规定，仅有的例外情形是，沙俄民法中曾规定已逾80岁的男女不得结婚。 历史上任何时代、任何国家中有关结婚年龄的规定，均受下列两种因素制约：一是自然因素，即人的身心发育程度；一是社会因素，即一定的生产方式和与之相适应的社会条件。在不同的时代和国家里，法律对结婚年龄的规定不尽相同。古罗马法和基督教旧教会法中的规定为男14岁，女12岁。1917年颁行的《天主教会法典》已改为男16岁，女12岁；教徒所在国法定婚龄高于此规定者，依其规定。当代各国由于情况不同，对婚龄的规定也不同。婚龄为男21，女18的有丹麦、芬兰、波兰等；男20，女18的有瑞士、越南等；男女均18的有苏联、联邦德国等；男18，女16的有日本等；男1...
