正文 机关、团体、企业、事业单位中负责管理本单位档案的机构，国家档案事业系统的基层组织。 大中型机关一般都设有档案机构，管理本单位形成的档案，但机构的名称不尽相同。在欧美一些国家称登记室，如德国人J.von 拉明根著的《登记室及其机构和管理》(1571)、德国的早期档案刊物《档案馆学和登记室学》(1806)、美国人T.R.谢伦伯格著的《现代档案—原则与技术》(1956)，都使用了登记室的概念。国际档案理事会组织编纂的《档案术语词典》 (1984)收录了“登记室”(registry)词条，定义为：“机关、团体、组织中负责形成、管理和保存现行案卷、文件和半现行文件的部门。” 苏联在各部和其他各主管部门 、组织、企业，在中央和地方苏维埃与工会委员会、合作社联合组织及其他社会组织中，都建立有档案室，统称机关档案室。在中国，宋代各级国家机关普遍设立架阁库，金、元、明...
