正文 同一地质历史过程中形成的含煤岩系的分布区域。经常为向斜盆地，因此也称煤盆地。由于煤田大多表现为盆地的形态，因此有的文献把“煤田”和“煤盆地”作为同义词。煤田是聚煤盆地中形成的含煤岩系经过构造变动和后期剥蚀残留部分，显然它的面积小于聚煤盆地，有的古生代煤田只相当于其原始聚煤盆地面积的几十分之一。 构成一个煤田的含煤岩系可以是连续分布的，也可以是不连续的，不连续分布是形变后受剥蚀的结果，例如褶皱的背斜部分含煤岩系被剥蚀掉，向斜部分得以保存，这一系列相隔不远的向斜中的含煤岩系属于同一个煤田。根据地理条件、地质构造、生产规模，一个煤田可以划分若干个煤矿区或煤产地，每个矿区又可分为若干个井田。 通常一个煤田的构成有3部分,即含煤岩系、盖层和基底（图1）。普查勘探以及开发过程中，对含煤岩系、盖层和基底全面进行研究，如盖层的岩性和厚度是选择勘探手段和开拓方式的...
