Dialect is so important to English, because that's important to every language. 'Cause every language has hundreds of dialects. At least most of them do. But in that case, what's the dialect for Chinese? Mandarin. And in English we have different dialects. Well, maybe they don't call them dialects any more, but I'd like to call them dialects.
